Hey friends! I so excited to be part of this fun linky with some fabulous ladies – Ashley and Angie! We are all sharing our home office areas today to help inspire you, give you ideas and invite you into our homes. A year ago, I would have shown you my sofa, recliner, or bed when I was asked about my home office. Not anymore! My husband created an amazing space just for me a few months back. Let me tell you how IKEA changed my storage room into a perfect spot for creating.
When you walk in my office, you are immediately greeted by a repurposed chandelier that I found at a thrift store. I wanted my office to be very modern, clean and refreshing.
The right wall of my office stores almost all of my centers. Since I moved out of my classroom this year and into an office space for next year, most of my materials had to come home. I organize all of my centers in the boxes by subject and skill.
My desk space is actually a table and desk combo that really works for me. I love the clean look of the table, but I also needed the standard drawer storage of a desk.
I’m really into gold right now so the wire baskets were spray painted along with a ton of other things in my office. I love lists! I keep my drawers stocked full so when my planner/Filofax gets low I can just refill as needed.
This is what a typical evening looks like for me. Except I usually have both boys upstairs with me drawing, coloring or playing a game. My filofax on the right side, keeps me focused and organized. I print my planner pages as I need them and then set my monthly goals and track sales daily, monthly, and yearly. File folders store most popular searched terms, product revision lists, and product ideas.
Printers are SO important in the world of TPT selling since now everyone wants to see the real product in use and not just the digital cover page. The drawers beneath the printer store my paper, cardstock, magnetic paper, laminating pouches, etc.
The wall art above my printer really inspires me. I used clipboards so that I can change out the inspirational sayings and quotes from time to time. There are a ton of free printables online! I just search, print, and hang.
The back wall of my office needs a little help. I plan on ordering more canvas photos and making the entire wall pictures of my family. Right now I have a start of 4 pictures. The table is used for cutting fabric or paper and stored in the rolling caddy are all of my art supplies.
Mattie and I would like to thank you for visiting our office space! Interested in the IKEA purchases that were made? Checkout my shopping list at the bottom of the post. Now, hop on through the other great office spaces to get ideas for your own working area! Thanks for reading!
