Monday was our first official day back at school with students. I’m so excited for my oldest son Nate who started 2nd grade this week. He is in love with this two teachers (who are also very dear friends of mine). It’s going to be an awesome year for him. Here’s our first day back quick pic!
I try not to be a negative person, but Arial 12 point font is now my greatest enemy!!! I have been working off and on at work for two straight weeks on updating, revising, and changing my county’s RTI manual to make it more teacher friendly and easier to understand/apply. However, it hit me…no wonder teachers don’t want to do the paperwork when it is so boring and ugly!!! If I could add some cute fonts, colors, and graphics, teachers would be excited about filling out the forms?? right??? Well, I haven’t changed the font or the size, but I’m seriously thinking about adding at least a little frame around the RTI forms to “jazz” it up a bit. Not to terrible?
I pray you’ve had a fabulous week! Remember the highs are blessing and the lows are ways to make us stronger and teachers and professionals. I’d love to hear all about your week as well! Drop me a comment or message me on Facebook! I can’t wait to hear all about it!
