If you have been following me on Facebook or Instagram lately, you’ve seen or read all about my obsession with iPads! Students are so motivated and engaged with using electronic devices other than computers. Today, 30 new iPads arrived for me to deliver to the 3 elementary schools in my district.
It’s a start to a vision I have of all students being in a classroom with at least 5 iPad devices per room. How awesome would it be to have guided reading groups that instead of having books could turn the pages on iPads? I can’t imagine the growth we would see if students are more motivated to learn to read with digital books.
So while loading up the gorgeous new iPads with apps, I decided to fancy them up a little with cute lock screens so the teachers can assigned specific iPads to certain students or groups (for checkout or accountability). Here are the steps I suggest using to get these cuties on your iPads for FREE 🙂
