Welcome back to another Plan with Me Sundays – Supplies edition hosted by Robyn at Kreative in Kindergarten and myself.
Before I share with you all my supplies, take a look at this week’s spread! I literally worked on this post and layout at midnight this past week. As you can tell, the beginning of the week is jam full of craziness, but that’s because the weekend is going to be relaxing and fun as we celebrate our 12th anniversary.
Here’s a closer look at the left…
And the right… I much prefer the right side at this point.
Now let’s talk about those supplies!
Let’s start off with the obvious supply…washi tape. You can never have too much. I prefer to buy in bulk at Michael’s. You can get a massive roll of 12 different varieties and designs for $20, but if you use the mobile coupon (40% off), you score the tape for around $12.00 ($1 a roll).
As you can tell, a lady can never have too many rolls…don’t show my husband…
Next, let’s talk writing utensil. I am a lead pencil kind of gal. I hate pens! For my planner though I prefer two different kinds…Flare and Sharpie. Flare pens are great because they don’t bleed through the paper, however some washi textures the pen does smear, which is why I prefer Sharpie pens for the washi tape labeling.
Just look at those colors. I don’t have every color, but it is my life mission to have every single color available.
I do believe someone has been in my Sharpie collection. I know I bought a 20 pack from Sam’s Club.
I’ve shared with you in previous posts about where I purchase my stickers from Etsy stores and I also make my own stickers. There are post for both of those topics. So I will jump right in and say that there are great finds in dollar spots at Michael’s, Target, and Walmart. I love using notepads in my planner as well. I usually stick a piece of washi over the top and bottom and use them as to – do lists. The past two weeks I have use these for this purpose.
Finally, what good is a planner if you aren’t able to find where you are quickly? Planner clips are important and a way to show off your personality and style. I love finding different types of clips. You can even find a few cute ones in book stores.
