Welcome to Plan with Me Sundays! A linky party hosted by myself and Robyn from Kreative in Kindergarten. The goal of this linky party is to share with others how we organize, decorate and use our different planners to keep up with all our responsibilities as moms, bloggers, teachers, and sellers.
Let’s kick off Plan with Me Sundays with a video! One of my favorite ways to decorate and keep up with important pages in my planner is to make clips. Take a look!
Now join me for “Plan with Me Sundays” for this week!
A typical planning session for me includes markers, lots of washi tape, clips, stickers, etc. I use my calendar section and then pull out my other pages from my Filofax planner so I can see everything at once (I hate flipping back and forth while planning).
Here’s a closer view of my calendar. I use the planner from the 3AM Teacher. I added social media checkboxes for each day so as I complete or schedule, I don’t miss a day.
The first step is always WASHI TAPE! Scream it with me! 🙂
I typically plan a week at a time on Sunday and then add to my planner as the week unfolds. I try to add a few cute stickers to my planner to decorate it up and remind me of different things. For example the camera says “Don’t take these moments for granted!”. We will be at the cabin this weekend and I want to cherish each and every moment…which means NO TPT WORK!
I include meal plans at the bottom of my planner or things that are going on in the evenings. I find it so much easier to plan my family meals ahead of time so I don’t have to run back and forth to the grocery store a million times. #nobodysgottimeforthat
During the school year, I plan all my posts (pinterest, Facebook, and Blog posts) on Saturday. Now that I am out for the summer, I can spread the posts over a couple of days and it doesn’t take such a large chunk of time. I’ve found that Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays work best for me. It typically takes me an hour and half to schedule all my pins, a week’s worth of Facebook posts, and then a couple of blog posts a week. Of course I add to my pages, pins, and posts if something comes up during the week that is post worthy. 🙂
My sidebar of the planner is used for goals of the week. This is where I keep myself motivated. Yes, relaxing has to be a goal, or I will work right through it. I generally relax while my youngest son is napping. I read or just lay still and watch TV.
This is a newly added section to my planner. I am now tracking my water intake each day. I started on Plexus products due to wanting to shed a few pounds and just be overall healthier. I love this little sticker! Guess what you can grab this free printable here! That’s right…I said FREE!
If you are a mom you get this. If you are not, then you probably think I am completely “type A”. I am type A, but spontaneous date nights are a thing of the past when you have two kiddos. Finding a last minute babysitter is “Mission Impossible”. Sitters are hard to find these days!
I also try to come up with three goals for the month. I focus on creating Pinterest images, updating products or covers, and creating new products.
We can’t read to read your posts!
