A sound wall is a way to display the different sounds (or phonemes) we hear in words. Much like a word wall, a wound wall can be used for students to reference when they are reading or writing. The sound card circles included in this pack also include a visual picture of mouth articulation which helps students match sounds.

Sound cards and picture or word cards don’t follow phonics patterns, but matches sounds. You will see that long e words include different spelling patterns as well as the other sounds included in the sound wall.
