Are you ready to get organized for next school year? You all know by now that every spring, I await the launch of the new teacher planners by Erin Condren. I’ve tried them all and by far, this is my favorite planner. So this year, I decided to go on a little adventure and try to make my own header stickers.
So…I’m not going to lie. It took me a solid three to four hours. Only because I never use my Silhouette except during the summer, and I had to google every step along the way, but I am very happy with the finished product. To save you time and your sanity, I have free templates below along with a video tutorial of how you can make these stickers for yourself in NO TIME!
Set it up!
First off though, how do you set up your planner? If you are on the fence as to if you need to commit to purchasing an EC planner, click here to read my five reasons why you should invest. I always start with the full calendar view. I use transparent stickers to mark important days… like that fall break, spring break, etc. Now we are ready for the fun part…labeling the subject headers!
Materials
- Access to a color printer
- Full Sheet Avery Labels
- Scissors or a Cutting Machine with Computer
Free Templates! Just a click away!
Like I said previously, I have free templates for you if you want to use mine, or you can venture off and create your own. I also have a tutorial for how to use my templates. The most important thing is to measure the size of the boxes TWICE. For real! Twice! From there you can insert different color background rectangles, font choices, images, etc. to make your stickers look just like you want them.
Don’t own a fancy machine? No worries!
If you currently don’t own a Cricut or Silhouette! NO worries! You can still sign up for the free downloads and just print and cut with scissors or a scrapbooking cutter.
Enjoy! Be sure to tag me in any posts that you share on Social Media so I can see your adorable planners all set up and ready for next school year!
