Are you tired of wasting a TON of ink printing out cute letters for your classroom boards and displays? What if I told you you can make adorable titles in COLOR without using a bit of ink? Yep, its true peeps and I am going to show you how with this month’s edition of You Ought Know! This will change your LIFE!
Materials – All it takes is a little scrapbook paper, cute fonts on your computer, a word process program, printer and scissors.
Step 1: Find your favorite scrapbook paper and cut it down to 8 1/2 x 11. Helpful Hint: If your paper is directional, make sure to cut it accordingly.
Step 2: Using a word processing program follow these steps on the video to create the letters for your paper.
Step 3: Print! Make sure to feed your scrapbook paper which ever way it needs to so that the letter outlines print on the side of the scrapbook paper.
Step 4: Cut! Simply cut out those letters however you like. I prefer to cut leaving a small amount of color between the edge and the line.
That is it! Can you believe how simple that is? Crazy and so smart! I found this idea from a fellow blogger, Emily from Polka Dots Please. Checkout her origins post here. Such a great idea! Thanks for reading!
